Participants will discover their respective personality traits and thereafter learn ways to understand and respect each other’s differences.

Participants will discover their respective love languages (proposed by Gary Chapman) and thereafter learn ways to bridge the communication gap in their relationship.

FAQs

CAN I BRING MORE THAN ONE SON TO ATTEND THE CAMP?

Sorry. The intent is for sons to receive exclusive attention from their fathers, and it is best achieved in a one-to-one setting. As such, only one son can attend at a time.

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT FOR MY SON?

The camp is designed for sons aged 10 to 18 only.

WILL TRANSPORT BE PROVIDED TO TAKE US TO THE CAMPSITE?

No. But fret not as we will be providing you with a location map and directions that will lead you to the campsite safely. 

 

WHAT TIME DO I HAVE TO BE AT THE CAMPSITE AND WHAT TIME DOES THE CAMP END?

We will start at 12 p.m. on the first day and end at 4 p.m. on the second day.

WHAT ITEMS SHOULD WE PACK FOR THE CAMP?

We will provide you with a packing list about 2 weeks before the camp starts so that you will have ample time to prepare for your adventure together.

PROGRAM

Target Audience: Father and sons (10-18 years old)

Language: English

No. of Participants: 25 father and son pairs

Dates: 12 p.m., 21st Jan to 4 p.m., 22nd Jan 2023

Venue: Deccan Trails, Vikarabad

Objective:To provide an exciting and adventurous platform for fathers and sons to better understand, communicate and encourage each other.

Programme                                    

Learning:

  • Understanding: Discover respective personality traits and learn ways to understand and respect each other’s differences.
  • Communicating: Discover your love language (Gary Chapman) and learn ways to bridge the communication gap in your relationship.
  • Encouraging: Learn the importance of the 3As- accepting, affirming, and coming alongside each other.

Activities*

  • Hike: A guided trek along a trail
  • Communication walk: A teamwork activity where sons lead their fathers through a guided course.
  • Cook your own food: Outdoor cooking using raw ingredients. 
  • Outdoor activities: Rock climbing, Burma bridge, valley crossing, spider’s web, monkey crawling, volleyball, tight rope walking, table tennis, commando net, balance boards, etc.

*Some activities will be included in the program, other will be available for use in your personal time.

Program Cost (Covers both participants)

Canvas Tent: INR 9500 (Incl 18% GST) – 10 Canvas tents, attached bathrooms, pitched on upper ground with hillside view.

Dome Tent: INR 7750 (Incl 18% GST) – 15 Nylon dome tents, shared bathrooms, pitched on lower ground.
